[Editor's note: This version of this section is effective January 1, 2026.] A person who practices or offers or attempts to practice as a veterinary technician or veterinary professional associate without an active registration issued under this part 2 or as a veterinary technician specialist without an active veterinary technician specialist designation under this part 2 is subject to penalties pursuant to section 12-20-407 (1)(a).
