1. (1) As used in this section:

   1. (a) Adverse action has the meaning established in section 24-60-4101.
   2. (b) Commission means the occupational therapy compact commission established in section 24-60-4101.
   3. (c) Compact means the occupational therapy licensure interstate compact authorized in part 41 of article 60 of title 24.
   4. (d) Data system has the meaning established in section 24-60-4101.
   5. (e) Telehealth has the meaning established in section 24-60-4101 with regard to delivering occupational therapy services.

2. (2) With regard to the compact, the director has the following powers and duties:

   1. (a) To facilitate Colorado's participation in the compact;
   2. (b) To promulgate the rules necessary for the implementation, administration, and enforcement of the compact. The director shall promulgate rules in accordance with article 4 of title 24.
   3. (c) To appoint a person to serve as a commissioner on the commission;
   4. (d) To regulate telehealth in accordance with the compact;
   5. (e) To notify the commission of any adverse action regarding a licensed occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant;
   6. (f) To provide uniform data to the data system consistent with the rules of the commission; and
   7. (g) To approve payment of assessments levied by the commission to cover the cost of operations and activities of the commission and its staff.
