1. (1) A person shall not hold himself or herself out as a naturopathic doctor or use any of the titles or initials referred to in subsection (2) of this section unless the person is registered as a naturopathic doctor pursuant to this article 250.
2. (2) A naturopathic doctor may use the title naturopathic doctor, or doctor of naturopathy, or the initials N.D.
3. (3) A naturopathic doctor shall qualify any specialty services provided to the public with naturopathic or naturopath.

4. (4) A naturopathic doctor shall not use:

   1. (a) The term physician in describing the naturopathic doctor's registered naturopathic medicine practice in this state;
   2. (b) The abbreviations NMD or N.M.D.;
   3. (c) The term naturopathic medical doctor.
5. (5) Nothing in this section prevents a naturopathic doctor from disclosing membership in national organizations or associations of naturopathic physicians unless the disclosure is false, misleading, or deceptive.
6. (6) Nothing in this section prevents a person from using the term doctor or the title Dr. if he or she satisfies the requirements of section 6-1-707 (1)(a).
