Settlement weight means the actual gross weight of any lot of almonds received for his own account by any handler, less adjustments as follows:

1. (a) For weight of containers,
2. (b) For excess moisture,
3. (c) For trash or other foreign material of any kind, and
4. (d) For inedible kernels as defined in § 981.8.
