If you are a service agent involved in a PIE proceeding, the Director provides you written notice as soon as he or she makes a PIE decision. The notice includes the following elements:

1. (a) If the decision is not to issue a PIE, a statement of the reasons for the decision, including findings of fact with respect to any material factual issues that were in dispute.

2. (b) If the decision is to issue a PIE—

   1. (1) A reference to the NOPE;
   2. (2) A statement of the reasons for the decision, including findings of fact with respect to any material factual issues that were in dispute;
   3. (3) A statement of the scope of the PIE; and
   4. (4) A statement of the duration of the PIE.
