Any part of a tank furnished by an outside supplier may not be used in a tank unless it bears—

1. (a) The Coast Guard symbol;
2. (b) The Marine Inspection Office identification letters;
3. (c) The word “part”;
4. (d) The manufacturer's name and serial number; and
5. (e) The design pressure.
