1. (a) The provisions of this subpart, with the exception of §§ 34.50-80 and 34.50-90, must apply to all vessels contracted for on or after August 22, 2016.
2. (b) Vessels contracted for prior to August 22, 2016 but on or after January 1, 1962, must meet the requirements of § 34.50-80.
3. (c) All vessels contracted for prior to January 1, 1962, must meet the requirements of § 34.50-90.
