In order to achieve efficient and economical review, a QIO must coordinate its activities (including information exchanges) with the activities of—

1. (a) Medicare administrative contractors, fiscal intermediaries, and carriers.
2. (b) Other QIOs; and
3. (c) Other public or private review organizations as may be appropriate.
