Each agency must establish policies and procedures to determine—

1. (a) When the agency will authorize employee emergency travel under part 301-30 of this chapter;
2. (b) Who will determine if an employee's situation warrants payment for emergency travel expenses;
3. (c) When and by whom travel to an alternate location other than the official station or point of interruption will be authorized; and
4. (d) Who will determine when and if the definition of immediate family may be extended and to whom.
