DOE offices shall establish procedures to provide for the reporting, documentation, and investigation of instances of loss, damage, or destruction of personal property including:

1. (a) Notification to appropriate DOE organizations and law enforcement offices;
2. (b) Determination of cause or origin;
3. (c) Liability and responsibility for repair or replacement; and
4. (d) Actions taken to prevent further loss, damage, or destruction, and to prevent repetition of similar incidents.
