41 C.F.R. § 101-30.103-2 – Agency responsibilities.

(a) Each civil agency shall:
1. (1) Participate in the preparation and maintenance of the civil agency portion of the Federal Catalog System and in the conversion to and utilization of this system, and
2. (2) Comply with the policies, principles, rules, and procedures of the Federal Catalog System as prescribed in this part 101-30.
(b) Adherence by the Department of Defense to the single supply catalog system developed for the military departments under chapter 145, title 10, U.S. Code, shall be deemed to constitute full coordination of cataloging activities with GSA.
