As a condition of retaining a fellowship, a fellow shall—

1. (a) Maintain satisfactory progress in the conduct of his or her research;
2. (b) Devote full time to research on the approved topic;
3. (c) Not engage in unauthorized income-producing activities during the period of the fellowship; and

4. (d) Remain a student in good standing with the grantee institution during the period of the fellowship.
