(b) Each year, one or more Training Program projects must offer training covering the following topics:

1. (1) The legislative and regulatory requirements for operating projects funded under the Federal TRIO programs.
2. (2) Assisting students to receive adequate financial aid from programs assisted under title IV of the Act and from other programs.
3. (3) The design and operation of model programs for projects funded under the Federal TRIO programs.
4. (4) The use of appropriate educational technology in the operation of projects funded under the Federal TRIO programs.

5. (5) Strategies for recruiting and serving hard-to-reach populations, including students who are limited English proficient, students from groups that are traditionally underrepresented in postsecondary education, students who are individuals with disabilities, students who are homeless children and youths, students who are foster care youth, or other disconnected students.
