1. (a) Specifications. Each milliliter of suspension contains 50 milligrams (mg) of stanozolol.
2. (b) Sponsor. No. 054771 in § 510.600(c) of this chapter.
3. (c) Conditions of use—(1) Amount—(i) Dogs and cats. For cats and small breeds of dogs: 25 mg. For larger dogs: 50 mg. Administer by deep intramuscular injection in the thigh at weekly intervals, for several weeks.
4. (ii) Horses. Administer 25 mg per 100 pounds of body weight by deep intramuscular injection in the gluteal region at weekly intervals, for not more than 4 weeks.
5. (2) Indications for use. For use as an anabolic steroid treatment.
6. (3) Limitations. Do not use in horses intended for human consumption. Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.
