(a) Effective July 1, 2011, in order to maintain a consumer’s preferred living arrangement and adjust the residential services and supports in accordance with changing service needs identified in the individual program plan (IPP), a regional center may enter into a signed written agreement with a residential service provider for a consumer’s supervision, training, and support needs to be provided at a lower level of payment than the facility’s designated Alternative Residential Model (ARM) service level.
