No employer shall fail or neglect to do any of the following:

1. (a) To provide and use safety devices and safeguards reasonably adequate to render the employment and place of employment safe.
2. (b) To adopt and use methods and processes reasonably adequate to render the employment and place of employment safe.
3. (c) To do every other thing reasonably necessary to protect the life, safety, and health of employees.
