Subject to Section 7150.35, an anatomical gift of a donor’s body or part may be made during the life of the donor for the purpose of transplantation, therapy, research, or education in the manner provided in Section 7150.20 by any of the following individuals:

1. (a) The donor, if the donor is an adult or if the donor is a minor and is either of the following:

   1. (1) An emancipated minor.
   2. (2) Between 15 and 18 years of age, only upon the written consent of a parent or guardian.
2. (b) An agent of the donor, provided that the power of attorney for health care or other record expressly permits the agent to make an anatomical gift.
