For the purposes of Sections 42301.5 to 42301.8, inclusive:

1. (a) “School” means any public or private school used for purposes of the education of more than 12 children in kindergarten or any of grades 1 to 12, inclusive, but does not include any private school in which education is primarily conducted in private homes.
2. (b) “Air contaminant” means any contaminant defined pursuant to Section 39013.
3. (c) “Administering agency” means an agency designated pursuant to Section 25502.
4. (d) “Handle” means handle as defined in Article 1 (commencing with Section 25500) of Chapter 6.95 of Division 20 of the Health and Safety Code.
