Effective Jan 1, 2011Amended by Stats. 2010, Ch. 212, Sec. 10. (AB 2767) Effective January 1, 2011.

Court interpreters’ and translators’ fees or other compensation shall be paid:

(a) In criminal cases, by the court.
(b) In civil cases, by the litigants, in proportions as the court may direct, to be taxed and collected as other costs.
