Upon the occurrence of any of the following events, the payment of a pension or benefit to the recipient shall cease.
- (a) Convicted of a felony.
- (b) Becomes a habitual drunkard.
- (c) Becomes a nonresident of this State.
- (d) Fails to report for examination for duty unless excused by the board.
- (e) Disobeys the requirements of the board as to the examination or duty.
