The Attorney General shall lease facilities and equipment to connect the State Teletype System with the sheriff’s office in the counties of:

1. (a) Alpine.
2. (b) Del Norte.
3. (c) Lake.
4. (d) Lassen.
5. (e) Nevada.
6. (f) Plumas.
7. (g) Sierra.
