As used in this part, unless the context requires otherwise, the following definitions apply:

1. (a) “Applicant” means a community college district that submits an eligible application pursuant to this part.
2. (b) “Chancellor” means the Chancellor of the California Community Colleges.
3. (c) “Chancellor’s office” means the office of the Chancellor of the California Community Colleges.
4. (d) “Grant” means a grant awarded pursuant to this part.
5. (e) “Program” means the Rebuilding Nursing Infrastructure Grant Program established pursuant to this part.
6. (f) “Recipient” means a community college district that receives a grant pursuant to this part.
