For purposes of this part, the following terms have the following meanings:

1. (a) “Academic year of the student’s first year of enrollment” means the first full academic year in which a person is a student at the California State University.
2. (b) “Campus” means a campus within the California State University system as set forth in Section 89001.
3. (c) “Transfer student” is a student who earned an associate degree for transfer from a California community college.
4. (d) “Trustees” means the Trustees of the California State University.
