Effective Jan 1, 2026Added by Stats. 2025, Ch. 674, Sec. 3. (AB 853) Effective January 1, 2026. Operative August 2, 2026, pursuant to Section 22757.6.

(a) A GenAI system hosting platform shall not knowingly make available a GenAI system that does not place disclosures pursuant to Section 22757.3.
(b) This section shall become operative on January 1, 2027.
