Effective Jan 1, 2023Amended by Stats. 2022, Ch. 311, Sec. 1. (SB 1437) Effective January 1, 2023. Repealed as of January 1, 2027, by its own provisions. Note: Repeal affects Chapter 3.9, comprising Sections 5800 to 5812.
  1. (a) This chapter shall be subject to review by the appropriate policy committees of the Legislature.
  2. (b) This chapter shall remain in effect only until January 1, 2027, and as of that date is repealed.
