1. (a) If informal resolution does not occur within 60 days after the filing of a complaint pursuant to Section 10906, the complainant may file the complaint, a summary of the attempts at informal resolution, and any other relevant documents with the Department for further action. Complaints shall be submitted to the Department within 30 days after the failure to reach informal resolution between the recipient and the complainant.
2. (b) Within ten working days after receipt of a complaint, the Department shall acknowledge receipt to the complainant and request the recipient to forward all files, records, or other documents with respect to the matter to the Department.
