Cal. Code Regs. tit. 9, § 7163.5
(a) Transportation expenses for permanent relocation shall be provided when:
The individual has accepted suitable employment as a result of the completion of the Individualized Plan for Employment (IPE).
Permanent relocation is more cost effective and feasible than transportation to and from the individual's current residence and place of employment.
The requirements in section 7161(b) have been met.
(b) Transportation expenses for permanent relocation shall include only the costs specified in (1) or (2).
For self-moves, the costs of renting a truck or trailer plus the amounts specified in section 7162(c). The mileage shall be based upon the most direct route from the client's former residence to the new residence.
For carrier moves, the costs for a licensed carrier that is certified by the State and:
