1. (a) Hearings shall be scheduled within thirty (30) calendar days from receipt of the appeal request under section 1561 and shall be set for a reasonable time thereafter, at such locations defined in section 1551.
2. (b) Written notice of the time and place of the hearing on an appeal shall be mailed to each party by the hearing officer at least fifteen (15) calendar days before the date of the hearing. The notice period may be shortened with the consent of all parties.
