Cal. Code Regs. tit. 9, § 552 – Equipment Expense.

(a) The following definitions of equipment shall apply:
1. (1) Equipment shall mean moveable personal property of a relatively permanent nature and of significant value, such as furniture, machines, tools and vehicles.
  1. (A) “Relatively permanent” is defined as a useful life of one year or longer.
  2. (B) “Significant value” is defined as a minimum value of $100 to $1,000 as established by the County Auditor.
(b) All plans for equipment expenditures shall be submitted as part of the annual county plan.
