1. (a) The terms, “state hospital,” or “facility,” as used in this chapter shall mean “any hospital owned and operated by the Department of Mental Health.”
2. (b) The terms, “individual patient,” or “patient,” as used in this chapter shall mean “any state hospital patient who is committed to and/or receiving treatment in a state hospital.”
