- (a) Rooms in which flammable or combustible liquids are stored or handled by pumps, shall have exit facilities arranged to prevent occupants being trapped in the event of fire.
- (b) Rooms in which Category 1 or 2 flammable liquids, or Category 3 flammable liquids with a flashpoint below 100 °F (37.8 °C) are stored or handled shall be heated only by means not constituting a source of ignition, such as steam or hot water. Rooms containing heating appliances involving sources of ignition shall be located and arranged to prevent entry of flammable vapors.
