1. (a) A weight indicator shall be provided and used on every drilling and redrilling well, also on all other wells when pulling on casing or stuck pipe. This applies only when wire rope hoisting lines are used.

   Note: This section does not apply to sucker rods in a producing well.

2. (b) Weight indicators shall be installed and maintained to manufacturer's specifications.
