1. (a) Dollars allocated for financial assistance pursuant to this subchapter shall be identified separately in district accounts.
2. (b) The governing board of each community college district shall adopt procedures that will document all financial assistance provided on behalf of students pursuant to this subchapter. Authorized procedures shall include rules for retention of support documentation which will enable an independent determination regarding accuracy of the district's certification of need for financial assistance.
