Each community college shall make reasonable efforts to notify a student subject to academic or progress notice or pause at or near the beginning of the semester or quarter in which it will take effect but, in any event, no later than the start of the fall semester or quarter. Each community college shall also make reasonable efforts to provide counseling and other support services to a student on academic or progress notice to help the student overcome any academic difficulties. Each community college shall make reasonable efforts to notify a student of their removal from academic or progress notice or of their academic or progress restart within timelines established by the district. Academic or Progress Notice and Pause policies and procedures shall be published in the college catalog.
