1. (a) Upon request of the Chancellor, a district shall provide copies of all documents related to a discrimination complaint, including the following:

   1. (1) the complaint;
   2. (2) any investigative report, unless subject to the attorney-client privilege;
   3. (3) the final district decision rendered by the governing board or a statement indicating the date on which the administrative determination became final pursuant to section 59338(a) or (d);
   4. (4) the notice to the complainant required by section 59338(a) or (d);
   5. (5) the complainant's appeal of the district's administrative determination pursuant to section 59338(a); and
   6. (6) any other non-privileged documents or information the Chancellor requests.

2. (b) Districts shall provide to the Chancellor an annual report with the following information:

   1. (1) the number of employment and non-employment discrimination complaints and informal charges received in the previous academic year,
   2. (2) the number of complaints and informal charges resolved in the previous academic year,
   3. (3) the number of complaints of unlawful discrimination received in the previous academic year, and the number of those complaints that were sustained in whole or in part,
   4. (4) any other information requested by the Chancellor.
3. (c) Districts shall retain all records arising from informal discrimination charges and formal discrimination complaints for a period of at least five years after closing a case.
