1. (a) Pupil confidentiality is appropriately maintained;
2. (b) A medication record is maintained for each pupil to whom medication is administered or other assistance is provided in the administration of medication; and
3. (c) An appropriate record is kept of pupils who are allowed to carry and self-administer medication.

A local education agency may establish policies regarding documentation of the administration of medication to pupils or otherwise assisting pupils in the administration of medication to ensure that:
