1. (a) All adult volunteers must meet the requirements in CCR, title 22, sections 101216(c) and (d), and unless exempted under CCR, title 22, section 101170(b), shall be required to obtain a criminal record clearance.

2. (b) Contractors may recruit a maximum of one adult volunteer per 24 children to meet adult-child ratios, as required in section 17713, under the following conditions:

   1. (1) Adult volunteer shall obtain a criminal record clearance as specified in CCR, title 22, section 101170; and
   2. (2) Shall meet personnel requirements specified in CCR, title 22, section 101216.
3. (c) The contractor shall ensure that adult-child ratios, as required in sections 17713 or 17715, are maintained during program operations.
4. (d) The contractor shall have a written plan indicating how the program will meet the adult-child ratios in sections 17713 and 17715, in the event that the adult volunteer is not able to participate on any given day.
