Except as otherwise provided for in Health & Safety Code section 1596.792(o), contractors with facilities which are exempt by statute or otherwise exempt from licensure shall comply with health and safety regulations for childcare centers and family child care homes as specified in California Code of Regulations (CCR), title 22, Community Care Licensing Standards in order to qualify for preschool program contract funds.
