Cal. Code Regs. tit. 5, § 15556 – Payment of Claims.

(a) Each child nutrition entity shall submit a claim for reimbursement to the Department within 60 days after the close of each claim month.
(b) As a courtesy, if a child nutrition entity has not filed a claim within 50 days following the close of any claim month, the department may notify the entity of the approaching deadline to file such claim.
(c) Each child nutrition entity failing to submit a claim within 60 days after the close of any calendar month shall forfeit reimbursement for such month, unless otherwise authorized by the United States Department of Agriculture.
