1. (a) Adhesive Bond. The bond shall be stronger than the adjoining foam when separated by hand. The seam shall not be noticeably hard when felt with the palm of the hand.
2. (b) The latex foam shall be constructed of a single piece or, if used to construct a pillow insert, two molded half sections. Modifications which are designed to enhance a special feature of the product are acceptable when such modifications have been approved by the Bureau.

Any latex foam which does not meet any one of the following minimum physical requirements shall be designated on the law label as “Scrap Latex Foam” or “Scrap Latex Foam Rubber.”
