1. (a) Pursuant to Government Code section 15438.10, the Authority shall award up to a total of $1,500,000 in grants to one or more eligible Demonstration Projects designed to:

   1. (1) demonstrate cost-effective and innovative methods of delivering quality Health Care Services;
   2. (2) improve access to health care, including preventive services, for Vulnerable Populations or Communities; and
   3. (3) enhance health outcomes.
2. (b) The purpose of this Article is to provide for a process by which grant funds will be allocated to an eligible Demonstration Project or Projects.
