1. (a) Jet nozzles having an orifice of not less than ¹/₁₆ inch in diameter shall be used with such orifices directed backward parallel to the horizontal axis of the aircraft in flight. A number 46 (or equivalent) or larger whirlplate may be used.
2. (b) Boom pressure shall not exceed 40 pounds per square inch.
3. (c) Spray material shall not be discharged at a height of more than ten (10) feet above the crop or target.
4. (d) Wind velocity shall not exceed 10 miles per hour.

The aerial application of paraquat for preplant or preemergence weed control shall be made only in accordance with the following restrictions:
