1. (a) An official sample and the “description of sample” form, accompanied by a label, shall be sent to California Department of Food and Agriculture, Nursery and Seed Services, 1220 N Street, Sacramento, California 95814.
2. (b) All other samples may be placed in any suitable nonsealed container, and forwarded to the State Seed Laboratory, Laboratory Services, California Department of Food and Agriculture, 1220 N Street, Sacramento, California 95814, except as provided in subsection (c).
3. (c) Certification samples should be forwarded to the seed-certifying agency for which they were drawn.
