1. (a) Continuation of the approval to import poultry products into California, according to the criteria set forth in sections 24712 or 25022 of the Food and Agricultural Code, is contingent upon the following information and documentation being completed on or before the one-year anniversary date of the initial approval:

   1. (1) Written request from the importer to continue the importation of the specified poultry products into California.
   2. (2) Written statement from the appropriate government authority that inspects the products, which specifies that the product continues to be under inspection by that authority and the producer of the product(s) continues to be in good standing.
