Record Retention for Rendering.

(a) Each renderer shall keep a separate record in writing that is distinct from all other records and that shows the following information for all animal carcasses:
- (1) Name and address of person from which the animal(s) were obtained unless the carcass(es) were delivered after hours and/or this information is not available. In this case, the renderer may enter “Unknown” for the name and address.
- (2) Date animal(s) were obtained.
- (3) Species and quantity.
- (b) All such records shall be produced upon demand of the Department.
- (c) The records shall be kept and maintained for not less than two (2) years.
