- (a) When deemed necessary by the Branch Chief in order to prevent the continuation and the spread of vesicular exanthema, he may require all swine in a quarantined district, infected with the disease or exposed to such disease, to be destroyed, and the carcasses disposed of under the supervision of a representative of the Branch.
- (b) The Branch Chief may require that guards be stationed in and about all quarantined areas to police the same, and to enforce the law and regulations relating to vesicular exanthema.
- (c) When swine are destroyed in a quarantined district as provided by this section, the Branch Chief may require such premises as he deems necessary to be cleaned, disinfected and tested under the direction of a representative of the Branch before such premises are released from quarantine.
