1. (a) A veal distributor, as a condition of registration pursuant to section 1321.2 of this Article, shall maintain records that comply with all the requirements of this section.
2. (b) Records shall be sufficient for purposes of an audit trail as defined in section 1321(b) of this Article and the applicable recordkeeping requirements described in section 1326.2 of this Chapter.
3. (c) Records shall document in a traceable manner that whole veal meat being sold into or within California originates from veal producers that are certified operations pursuant to Article 5 of this Chapter.
4. (d) Records shall document the address of the location where the distributor, as the buyer, takes physical possession of whole veal meat for each sales transaction.
5. (e) Records shall be maintained for two (2) years from the date of creation and be made accessible for inspection and audit by the Department and/or a certifying agent as required by section 1321.3 of this Article.
