1. (a) Discrimination prohibited. No person shall, on the grounds of race, color, religion, ancestry, marital status, physical handicap, national origin, sex, or any other arbitrary basis be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under, any program or activity funded in whole or in part with CDBG funds made available pursuant to this subchapter. All grantees shall comply with the requirements contained in 24 CFR 570.601, 570.602, 570.607, 570.506(g).
