1. (a) The provisions of this chapter shall apply to the Mobilehome Residency Law Protection Program established by Part 2.2 (commencing with Section 18800) of Division 13 of the Health and Safety Code, which provides an additional option to homeowners for resolving alleged violations of the Mobilehome Residency Law (Chapter 2.5 (commencing with Section 798) of Title 2 of Part 2 of Division 2 of the Civil Code).
2. (b) Participation by homeowners filing complaints in this program is voluntary. Failure to participate shall not bar a homeowner, an aggrieved park owner or management, or any other person from pursuing all available remedies in any judicial or administrative forum.
