1. (a) A standard plan approval may be obtained from the department for a plan for accessory buildings or structures. Department-approved plans shall be accepted by the enforcement agency as approved for the purpose of obtaining a construction permit when the design loads are consistent with the requirements for the locality and the provisions of this chapter.
2. (b) Requirements regarding the procedure to obtain a standard plan approval are contained in section 2020.9 of this chapter.
3. (c) Plan check fees shall not be required for accessory buildings or structures for which a standard plan approval has been obtained from the department.
